Coast Guard Civilian Recruitment Age Limit

  • Engine Driver & Lascar – 18 to 30 Years
  • Civilian Motor Transport & MTS – 18 to 27 Years

  • Reserved categories are given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules.

 

Coast Guard Civilian Education Qualification

Engine Driver :

  • Matriculation or equivalent
  • Certificate of competency as engine driver from a recognized government institute or equivalent.
  • Two years service as sarang on a vessel of over four hundred boat horse power.

Lascar :

  • Matriculation pass or its equivalent from recognized board.
  • Three years experience in service on ship or craft.

Civilian Motor Transport :

  • 10th pass
  • Must possess valid driving license for both heavy and light motor vehicles.
  • Should have at least two years experience in driving motor vehicles.

MTS (Mali) :

  • Matriculation or equivalent pass.
  • Two years experience as mali in any nursery or organization.

MTS (Peon) :

  • Matriculation or equivalent pass.
  • Two years’ experience as office attendant.

 

Indian Coast Guard Civilian 2023 Exam Pattern

इंडियन कोस्ट गार्ड सिविलियन भर्ती 2023 के लिए एग्जाम का आयोजन पेन-पेपर (ओएमआर शीट आधारित) में किया जाएगा। यह परीक्षा 1 घंटे की होगी और प्रश्न पत्र हिंदी और अंग्रेजी दोनों भाषाओं में होगा। प्रश्न पत्र में 80 बहुविकल्पीय प्रश्न होंगे और प्रत्येक प्रश्न में 1 अंक का होगा। इंडियन कोस्ट गार्ड भर्ती 2023 एग्जाम में नेगेटिव मार्किंग नहीं होगी। इसलिए अभ्यर्थी सभी प्रशन कर सकते हैं। रिटन एग्जाम में क्वालीफाई करने के बाद अभ्यर्थियों को ट्रेड टेस्ट के लिए बुलाया जाएगा।

Assistant Commandant Education Qualification

  1. Should hold degree of recognised university with minimum 60% aggregate marks.
  2. Mathematics and Physics as subject upto Intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics. The candidates who have completed graduation after diploma, are also eligible, provided they should possess an aggregate of 55% marks in diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum.
Commercial Pilot Licence – Short Service Appointment (CPL-SSA) Male/ Female
  1. Should have passed 12th class or equivalent with physics and mathematics as subjects with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics. The candidates who have completed diploma are also eligible, provided they should possess an aggregate of 55% marks in diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum.
  2. Should possess current Commercial Pilot Licence issued/ validated by Director General Civil Aviation on the date of submission of application.
Technical (Mechanical) Male
  1. Should hold an Engineering degree of recognised university in Naval Architecture or Mechanical or Marine or Automotive or Mechatronics or Industrial and Production or Metallurgy or Design or Aeronautical or Aerospace with minimum 60%
    aggregate marks. OR Equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognised by the Institutes of the Engineers (India) as exempted from section ‘A’ and ‘B’ and their associate membership examination (AMIE).
